Along the wall

During my summer study program in Salamanca, a few of us went to Avila for a day. It was a small town, surrounded by an old Medieval wall. The wall is one of the most famous aspects of Avila, since this town is the only one in the world that is still completely surrounded by a Medieval wall.

    I visited Avila a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed my time there. It is a lovely place for a daytrip.
