    Getting TO/AROUND: There is a subway system in Barcelona, and it's not hard to use. It doesn't just go within Barcelona either. We took it to get to Monserrat.

    You can buy subway tickets from a machine in the subway station or from a ticket booth.

    Getting TO/AROUND: We got to Barcelona by bus. We left Salamanca in the morning and arrived around 10-11 hours later, after sundown. Then we proceded to search for accomodations...

    Getting TO/AROUND: If there's only a short distance between places, walking is the best way to get around. It lets you see more of the city. Places like Las Ramblas and the area with the beaches, are made for walking. So be sure to wear comfortable shoes!

    Just remember to be careful at night, and don't travel alone or take unnecessary risks during the night.
