After two amazing trips to Salamanca for summer programs at the university there, I knew I had to return to Spain. But instead of going to Salamanca again, I decided to go to Seville. I wanted to experience many of the cultural traditions associated with this city - Holy Week, the Feria de Abril (April fair), the Rocio pilgrimage, etc. I decided to spend 2.5 months there, studying Spanish for 2 weeks and flamenco dance for the rest of my time.
I don't have many pictures to post because close to the end of my stay in Seville, I was attacked and mugged, and my digital camera (with 2 months worth of pictures) was stolen (amongst other things). Despite that, I still had a great trip with lots of great memories. |
