During my second trip to Rome, I decided to go to Tivoli for a day trip. I took a bus from Rome and it didn't take long to arrive there. Tivoli's most famous sights are the Villa d'Este and Hadrian's Villa, but I only got to see the Villa d'Este - mainly because I loved it so much that I ended up spending the whole afternoon there and didn't have time to see the other! But I did get to walk around town too, and see what the rest of the village looks like. |
