Since I was a teenager I had always wanted to go to London and my dream finally came true this spring. I arrived from snowy Canada and was so thrilled to see green grass and flowers once we got out of Heathrow. On the way to the hotel I was very excited to see the London Eye from afar and i knew that I would be up there the next day. Also on my list was Tower Bridge which for some reason had always fascinated me..We stayed in London for four days and had a fun packed schedule..We were able to get to the London Eye, Parliament Buildings, Horseguards, St.Paul's Cathedral, The Tower, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park and Picadilly Circus..Boy, did my feet hurt, although we tried to use the tubes as often as possible !!! Our hotel was not in London as they are rather pricey and instead we rested our weary heads in a hotel in Greenwich. |
| | The ever enduring symbols of London.. House of Parliament with Big Ben, the red double decker bus,and also the more newer London Eye! Since 1858 Big Ben`s chimes have sounded faithfully for all Londoners and we were able to witness its splendour right at noon.. |
| | London Eye The Eye provides you with a great view and it is worth its money. |
