My Home town

I have lived here since 1989. It is a nice, but very large community. Its called "The Princess City".

Weather

In the summer it can be as high as 95 degrees farenheit. and in the winter it can reach below 0 degrees farenheit. Because the city is directly southeast of Lake Michigan we get lots and lots of snow... hence the term "lake effect" snow.

Placest to shop & eat

For shopping in the Michiana area, Grape road in Mishawaka is the place to be (unless you don't like a lot of traffic)... There are lots of stores to choose from. My personal favorites are Hobby Lobby to buy arts and Craft Supplies and Media Play for the latest movies, music and books. Value City always has a good deal on Brand Name Clothing.
