"Gateway to Europe" Ramstein-Miesenbach by etfromnc

For many American military personnel, especially Air Force men, women, and their families, Ramstein Air Base (AB), which is located between the towns of Ramstein-Meisenbach and Landstuhl, is the actual gateway to exploring and living in the beauty, history, and culture of Germany and on into all that is Europe.
The town of Ramstein-Meisenbach is actually a rather small, easy-going town (especially considering that it is home to a very large, international military community). The people are hospitable and it seems that even more people here are multi-lingual than is common in much of Europe.
