the Old Palace and Ladies

Old palace consists of 4 floors, the 1st for guests, 2nd for living room, 3rd for bedrooms and 4th for kitchen which shares half roof.
Woman of Abha is who decorates her own house. Color made out of natural products. Yellow is out of a kind of spice, red is out of an Abha fruit, green is out Arar Abha tree, and blue i forgot,lol.
You can see colors here, they're very natural and till now, women are proud to do it.

Abha costume of nature--men

Since Abha is a natural hilly region, people tend to be poets and artistic about everything even clothes.
Men costume usually consists of three parts;
the lower is like a short skirt called--al-Massnaf
the middle is a blouse.
the top is a big hat like mexican hats.

Women heavy dress

The black dress is called Abha thobe. Usually women wear very heavy jewelery; belts, forehead belt, big earings besides a hat too. The heavier jewlery, the richer the woman. That's why, a woman's dowry in Abha is really high and may range SR30000-SR150000.
Some women cover their faces with burkhu, usually old ladies. They represents female shyness.
