Merdeka! Merdeka! | on Independence Day--Merdeka |
Merdeka (Independence Day) is celebrated 31th, August. On that day, Malaysian people agreed to live for their country, make it a better place, since so, they live in harmony toward one goal. It starts at the early morning 7.00 am to the noon. The Malaysian Sultan also attends. All people of all ethnics participate in that ceremony. I never forget the view of physical disabled people who participated. The star on the glag represents the 14 Welayat (states) of Malaysia.* |

| | Culture... KL is the capitol of cultural diversity, Malays with their different races and tourists with different nationalities. I like this picture, colors represent diversity but they are all in one path toward one goal |
nature... KL is full of natural scenes and parks, birds, flowers and lakes. You feel you'd breathe green, which always sustains harmony in the hearts of all malays and tourists as well. | | | beauty of unknown journey, KL-a |

Twin Towers were the highest building in the world back then. I did feel dizzy looking at the city from the top. Thanks for bringing back the memories. |
