I've always wanted to see the Medieval town of Bracciano along the Lake Bracciano and it's famed Odescalchi Castle.
After 2 years of putting off the 1-hour trip to this place, we finally headed the day after new year...and it was indeed a great satisfaction.
Despite the wind blowing furiously that day, the lake was a sight to behold especially from the view of the Castle's tower.
This legendary castle has now become a sought-after wedding venue. Thanks to CNN's Christian Amanpour, Eros Ramazzotti and Tome Cruise and Kate Holmes' weddings!
