Qeparo is a small village on the Albanian Riviera, 36 km north to Saranda, 13 km south to Himarė and 22 km south to Dhėrmi. As all the villages of the Albanian Riviera, it is clung to the mountain and overhangs the Adriatic.

Great photos and tips on how the new road is already changing things around Qeparo. Those were very interesting military tips too on the submarine pen and the fate of the strange old pillboxes!

Its good that they have now put up guard rails on that perilous looking road. That road to nowhere may one day lead to somewhere (exciting?) Nice page, Jean-Louis. Merci

Great page. As for tourist and other basic infrastructure I've found Albania the fastest changing country I have ever visited. In 5-10 years it will look quite different, I am sure.

The new road is quite a change, they're clearly expecting armies of tourists to visit this lovely looking coastline. An interesting 'pre-development' page, J_L.
