Gornji Stoj Travel Guide: 9 reviews and 26 photos

I wanted to write a page about Štoj but it does not exist in VT location database and I had to share my tips between Donji Štoj and Gornji Štoj. Under Donji Štoj I have put Milena canal and Štoj plain. Under Gornji Štojd, the group of restaurants that stand by the bridge that leads to Ada Bojana.

There are 5 or 6 fish restaurants standing on the northern shore of the Bojana river. They all have terraces build on wooden poles along the Bojana (previous photo)

The same parking lot is shared by half a dozen fish restaurants, Sometimes, the parking can be a little packed but don't worry, until now, there has always been enough space for everybody !

All I can say is ditto ditto to the previous comments, looks like a dream place still undiscovered by most Western Europeans. Seems like most backpackers opt for budget flights rather than tacking a bus or a train. Thanks for all yr effort.

Excellent photoes (close-ups) and info about the food you have eaten. Interesting info on a kalimerra and, right, this name reminds me Greece :-)

I have to agree with the preceeding comments - your Restaurant tips are mouth-watering!! This is an amazing place to visit and to live, with those houses so close to such beautiful waterways! Another great chapter in your summer trip!!

Looooong time ago I had a summer romance there, he he... :-) Račići (literally meaning crabs) are also called škampi or gambori if small. Orata is ORADA actually. :-)

This looks less like a normal holiday but more like a culinary holiday ! These fish are gigantic - and what they make out of it is mouthwatering !! Wonderful page, Jean-Louis ! Thanks !
