Hôtel “le Cours d’Eau”: For weight watchers!

Hôtel “le Cours d’Eau” stands at one extremity of the promenade. It has few rooms (may be 7) in a very old house and they are a bit special. To get to our room, we had to climb 7 stairs, then turn right and climb 5 more stairs, turn right and immediately left and walk into a narrow passage (70cm). After 2m, we turned left into an even narrower alley (60cm). After about 6m, there was the entrance into a room, which was not ours and we had to turn to the right into another alley, that was not narrower, fortunately! Here was our room. The door was so close to the wall (and the wall was not straight!) that they had to notch a few millimeters of the wood to allow the passage of the electric switch when pushing the door.

The room was small but very decent. Not much more than 2m wide and almost 6m long. Perfect to sleep with a good view on the promenade (second photo)/

But where is the bathroom ? Standing in the entrance, there was apparently no bathroom… Behind, here it is! You had to turn back as the entrance to the bathroom was side by side with the entrance into the room. Three stairs up lead to a stair-head with the shower on the right. Then three stairs down lead to the bathroom itself. I forgot to outline that the passage was exactly 49cm wide! If your waist is larger than 150cm, this place is not for you; Otherwise, the place is very calm, clean and pleasant.
