Mèze Travel Guide: 10 reviews and 21 photos

Mèze, Mesa in Occitan, is a 10.000 inhabitants city on the Bassin de Thau. It is a very old city, and as well as Agde, it was built by the Greeks, Vith BC. The city is mostly dedicated to mussels and oysters growing as the waters of the Bassin de Thau are quieter than the sea. Thus, it has a great many excellent seafood restaurants.

The photo shows a part of the oysters and mussels nurseries.

An interesting town of oysters. Your Zarzuella looks fanastically yummy! So you won't be sorry you began eating before taking a photo, haha! I would do the same!
