Each square in Strasbourg has its own Marchés de Noël. Though they have a lot in common, some are a bit specific. Here is the full list in 2006. Place Broglie and Rue de la Comédie : Christkindelsmärik Place Gutenberg : Village des Artisans Roumains (invited country changing every year). Place des Meuniers,: Irréductibles Petits Producteurs Alsaciens Place Benjamin Zix : Comptoir des rois Mages Place du Marché Neuf Place d'Austerlitz : Marché des Bredle Place de la Cathédrale Place du château. They are all working from November 25th to December 24th from 10:00 to 20:00 (till 21:00 on week-ends). A few of them work until December 31st.

jumpingnorman Mon Jul 20, 2009 05:32 UTC How nice they decorated this thouse for Marches de Noel...and the Église Saint Pierre le Vieux looks awesome...Norman :) | Kakapo2 Sun May 10, 2009 07:38 UTC Hi Jean-Louis, if you go on googlemaps and look for 18 place de Broglie you get a photo of your unknown building of General Tips. I found several infos about it, for example Theatre Alsacien, but not photos with it, so not sure. Keep on searching! Sissi | evaanna Thu Oct 2, 2008 09:23 UTC What a great city! No wonder it's so touristy. Loved the half-timbered houses and the magnificent cathedral. The Christmas markets look really interesting too. Thanks for this wonderful virtual tour, Jean-Louis. | tere1 Thu Jun 12, 2008 21:58 UTC Great photos and tips Jean Louis :)). I was thinking of visiting Strasbourg on my way to Karlsruhe but I couldn't make it this year. Maybe in a future trip! |
