Heidelberg is an old university town. So you will see lots of nice buildings which belong to the university. And also the students are part of that town as well as lots of students pubs.
But Heidelberg is also known all over the world, because it is situated in a lovely region with its castle. On the pic, you see the famous Castle of Heidelberg and the old bridge with the Brueckentor
One of the old student's institutions is the Karzer. Karzer means prison. The Karzer is the former student's prison. Don't miss it!
If you wanna have a great view on Heidelberg, climb up the stairs of the Heiliggeistchurch! And this summer , it was a little bit fresher on the top than downstairs in the Hauptstrasse (main street)
