    • Well, I will show you here some of the bavarian lakes I visited. there are of course much more, so there is unitl now only a choice of some more off the beaten path lakes.
    Walchensee and the village with the same name. The well known mountain there is Herzogstand. In summer time, people are surfing on the lake!

    • Kochelsee is just on the other side of Herzogstand. You see Kochelsee and Walchensee from the Herzogstand

    • Staffelsee is near Murnau. great athmosphere there in november - oh I love the fall colours!

    • Chiemsee is the biggest of the bavarian lakes. We saw it often when driving on the motorway, but never stopped there. But this time, we decided to go there on our way to Inzell.
    So we visited Chiemsee and Herrenchiemsee on a sunday afternoon in november. There were lots of people. I can imagine that it is crowded there in summer. Most boats leave in Prien. You can book Herrenchiemsee or a cruise with more islands. I would have liked the cruise, but we were too late and in november it gets dark early.

    • We had a very very short stop at Starnberg to take a pic of Starnberger See. BTW: The station is just next to the lake. That is the lake where King Ludwig died.

    • I was dreaming since long time to take this famous shot of St. Barthomomä at Königssee. It was a real pleasure to go there, especially with the colours in autumn.
