When we went to Greece in may, we had a flight from Berlin. What a good luck! So we went there a day before to do some sightseeing, it was much too short, we will come again!
We were happy to visit the new Holocaust memorial. It is just beside the Brandenburger Tor!

I heard that there is an Indian restourant in Saskatoon as well, but I haven't been there yet.
Yes German beer is great, and Berlin is something for sure..I wish to come and visit soon, as I missed it in my trip to Germany in the year 2000 :-))
Glad you did some cycling in Berlin. It's much more fun to do the pedaling yourself, not take a rikscha. You're right about the prices, things tend to be really cheap in (parts of) Berlin, at least compared to here.
To Schuss or not to schuss? That is the question...but I must say, I prefer not to though if I do, I do the green. ;) Nice to see you didn't miss the most sought after of beer experiences in Berlin.
