Takachiho Gorge is a great place to visit if you want to relax on your trip to Japan. Here you get to row a boat for about $15 for 30 min.... Here you can just listen to the silence.... a romantic hot spot......

Ok, so there are only 2 hotels on line that I found.... this is one of them. I stayed here and to tell you the truth.... it is not really a very nice hotel as they make it sound, but it is ok. It really looks more like someone's house. It was somewhat clean.... lets just say the room was clean, but everything else did not look as clean..... but they people were very friendly... though they did not speak any english what so ever.... nothing.... but they called someone they knew to translate...... I wanted to also mention that even though we arrived very late... about 11pm... they still prepared a huge dinner.... the decoration and the taste was amazing. This hotel includes breakfast and dinner for the price. You also have the choice to either sleep in a Ryokan or a western style room... .I stayed in the Ryokan and it was great. THis is also about 10 minutes walking time to takachiho Gorge.
