Paris in Fall

by bryINpoland - last update: Mar 26, 2005

we invaded paris a few months ago, and conquered it easily within 3 days, but boy did our feet take a beating. the city was absolutly amazing as u can imagine and its definitly a city that i will revisit again one day. ofcourse there is so much to see first...

DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES KICKED OUR ASS

what seemed to be the longest road in the world after walking all day, DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES really took it to us. a very interesting road. only way i would have enjoyed this street more is if i were rich. i could only afford to window shop on my backpacking budget...

PARIS FUN FACTS...

*Along DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES can be found the only mcdonalds in the world with white arches...

*In 1778, fasionable women in paris never went outside in bad weather without a lightning rod attached to their hats...

*notre dame cathedral use to be the center of paris. everything was measured from the distance to the cathedral...

The Rue Rambuteau leads to the Pompidou and more great street theatre.
