My names Darren and have just recently joined VT ...I have been travelling for a few years now as I work for a Fine Fragrance company in Europe , although its business I still find time to visit the different cultures and sites of alot of beautiful cities .

My favourite city so far is of course my hometown of Newcastle in the North East of England . What used to be a city with huge unemployment and a dying shipbuilding industry is now on the rise to being one of Europes most cultural cities.

Im from a suburb of Newcastle called Wallsend which is as it states " The end of the Wall " ..Hadrians to be precise therefore the is alot of Roman museums, ruins etc .
