Mandrogi

Situated on the banks of the Volga, this was an unscheduled stop as we could not visit Kishi Island due to bad weather and ice around the island. Mandrogi was totally destroyed and they are now busy rebuilding this village with the most beautiful wooden homes. The people are extremely friendly although they could not speak any English.

Seems like you had a great trip. You were indeed lucky to have seen the little brown bear and have been able to touch it.
