Rhodes is the capital of the Dodecanese islands and I flew here from Astapaleya. Was a bit of a dissapointment to me originally when I landed because of the lack of white houses with blue doors and window frames I think, however by the time I left, I started liking the island. Rhodes was part of the Roman and Byzantine empires, before it was conquered by the knights of St John. Everywhere on the island you can see signs of them being around.

Pros and Cons

Pros:lots of cultural and archeological things to explore
Cons:expensive and touristic
