Bettiesbay

Situated approx 30 minutes drive from Hermanus on the coastal road you will find Bettiesbay with it's penguin colony, botanical garden and lots more on offer. This is a lovely quiet little coastal town where the homes are mostly holiday homes with the odd B&B thrown in for good measure and to assist in accommodation during the whaling season.

Hermanus reminds me the word HERMANO in spanish, and I am sure to find a real brotherhood in the capes as people are spectacular, strongly welcoming people and Hermanus one of the ebst places in the world to see whales and sharks, am i right?:)

My first sighting of a whale was at Hermanus - a great experience, just sitting in a bar, with a glass of Savannah watching the Southern Right breach and dolphins porpoising in the sea......ah, such memories!
