it was my first visit where i was actually going to sleep over in the Kruger National Park and I woke up this morning with great excitement and felt like a five year old who is going to see the sea for the first time in their life. We departed from Hazeyview and drove to the Kruger Gate, which in hindsight was a wrong choice, we should have gone to the Numbi gate which would have given us even more time in the Park. Nevertheless we got to the Kruger gate at approx 9h00 and after signing in and getting our maps we started our journey to Berg-en-dal. This was the first restcamp where we were going to spend 2 glorious evenings. We saw the big 5, middle 5, little 5 you name it. My camera worked overtime and looking at the photo's now, I am glad that it did work overtime. I have the most fantastic photo's but cannot share all of them so am going to select the best. |
