"CANET en ROUSSILLON" Canet by mvtouring

We were fortunate to visit Canet staying in Malibu Village on the outskirts of the town. It is a self caterign timeshare resort that offers the most incredible service. They have 3 pools on site, a restaurant on site and one right next to the entrance. Internet service is free from Hotel Europe just outside the resort.

Every year, CANET en ROUSSILLON is organizing in collaboration with people working in the nautical industry, the Nautical Show.
This exhibition presents new and secondhand boats, afloat or ashore(tests are possible), sailboats or powerboats, jet-skis and cruise catamarans.
A part of the exhibition area is especially reserved to secondhand boats presented by professionals.
Different public services are at your disposal in fair tents: Maritime Affairs, Tourist Bureau, Organism of professional training (nautical), decoration objects for aquarium and boat-museum.; security service (S.N.S.M.)
Other fair tents present seaman's clothing and sportswear, new products (non-polluting and ecological for the cleaning of the boats), boat hire, fire extinguishers, upperworks and fishing products.
At the dining area visitors and exhibitors are welcome to savour together quite a variety of seafood.

Every day nautical activities and technical demonstrations attract a great number of visitors:

Sécurity measures : opening of life rafts, using the distress rocket, demonstration of a rescue by helicopter, visit of patrol boats of the Customs, Coastguards, Maritime Affairs and S.N.S.M. etc……
Sports : demonstration of jet-skiing, water gliding sports, sailboarding, etc….. each afternoon we offer the possibility of a first try and to discover all these gliding sensations. Some of these sports are adapted to handicapped persons. (association Handisports 66).
Culture : Presentation of sailor songs in traditional small Latin boats
