Outside the J Edgar Hoover Building

Here I am outside the FBI headquarters building in DC.

Business trip to Washington DC

I had to visit Washington attorneys and had a few days in the city. It was enjoyable if a little tiring. It was good to shop, eat and socialise.

I was approached several times asking if I would help to get John Kerrry elected; my Scottish accent might be a draw back for this I said.

I shall be going back, on holiday next time.

The Hotel......was next to the White House

This meant that the security in the hotel was tight. No one got access without a hotel key or knowing who they were coming to visit. It gave a very safe feeling to the guests.

The breakfast and lunch menus were good - the service was a little hit and miss at times.
