The Whisper

The City has a wealth of street sculpture and the Whisper is quite a well known piece of work. I ahve seen a copy of this elsewhere - in one of the London boroughs I think. That version was painted a rather garish pastel colour. I prefer this version.

The Peace Pagoda

The city is a real mix of people and places. There are areas which are medieval and older, then of course there is the interesting grid address system in the city centre.

The peace pagoda was always a favourite place to visit; located near to Willen lake I believe.

A lion.....

...the lion is one of a pair situated to the left and right of the Peace Pagoda. It is pleasing to the eye and is not too scary!
