Shinny Day

Little summary of my life
1977 I was born in Tanjung Pinang, Bintan, Indonesia
1995 went to study in Jakarta at Trisakty University
1999 started my working life in Jakarta. A brand new start :)
2002 I quit my job for studying japanese in Urayasu city, Japan
Then starting my new job in Osaka, Japan in this year also.
2004 I found Virtual Tourist site, and joined it :)

VT made me recall memories of my travel. Actualy i almost forgot my travel experience except the pic still exist in my photo album in my hometown...
I tried to recall my travel and here are the summary.

19...83 maybe??.. my first trip to Singapore with my family. Singapore is the closest country from Bintan. Only need 2 hours by ferry.
Hmm.. as I was still a kid at this time, I don't remember too much about this trip.....
I haven't travelled much after since... I was still a small girl at that time. Sometimes go out to Jakarta or Batam. Thats all..
I often visit Singapore too about once a year. Well the main purpose was shopping ^^;

Mt. Fuji

1998 Hongkong n ShenZhen, China. Hmm.. Although I stay at Hongkong for almost 1 month, I don't remember too much.. wanna visit there again.

1999/2000 or 2000/2001 oh.. i cannot remember it anymore... I went to Bali with my friendz. We had a great time. We drove from Jakarta to Bali and it tooks us about 2 dayz.
We quite relax at that time so tooks so much time. Actually you can only take 1 day by car from jakarta to there.
Bali really is a paradise. We had our old and new party in there and passed the year on the beach.
It should be a romantic moment but we were assleep at that time on the beach Zzzz. Phew- too sleepy :p

2000 My first trip to Japan. I joined a homestay program in Urayasu City. This program made me go back to Japan again ;)

2002 I joined a tour with my parents to Seoul, Korea and Cheju Island, Korea.
It was a farewell tour with my parents since i have to study in Japan.

White Sakura

2002 I am in Japan now. These past 2 years I explored Tokyo, Kansai area, n Okinawa.

2003 My business trip to Taipei, Taiwan. Thanks to my boss for giving me 2 days to explore Taipei during weekends.

2004 April - May, got many valuable tips from VT for my Holland, Brussels & Paris trip. Thanks guys!!

clown fish

I just started my scuba diving debut last year (Aug 2006) and so crazy for it. I think for this moment my travel trip will take diving as the purpose ^^;

You are welcome Rita :-) Yes from there you can get to everywhere via public transport which is cheap or taxi!! The good thing is one would save a lot on accommodation expenses. Good luck.
