Restaurant Name: The Ivy

The two of us went to The Ivy for my better half's birthday dinner last October. And it is true what they say - it is a lovely restaurant!

It is NOT as expensive as everyone makes out, although we did book in April to make sure we got a reservation! A three course meal each, plus a �40 bottle of wine came to �120 and that included the tip! The lobster was 'to die for' and the service was very pleasant.

There are three seatings per night: 6-8 (we did this one; this seating is also perfect if you're going to a show afterwards) 8-10 (reserved for the 'celebs') and 10-12.

We really liked it and would go back in a flash! Y

Favorite Dish: Lobster! I think it was lobster mornay.
