Long Beach

Miss L.B ... she loves life on the edge, one can say- on the coastlife and in street life. She is often compared to Los Angeles and does have some L.A. angelic qualities, but is very much her own city. There are some who are quick to deem her just "ghetto" but she gives many other vibes. All in all, she is hip urban ritz, maritime and suburban girl in one.

In the city, do the main attractions of Queen Mary, Aquarium of the Pacific, Shoreline Village and The Pike. Plus, experience downtown hotspots along Pine St and in the "Greenwich Village of So Cal"- East Village.

Marina L.B.

Get to know the breezy, easgoing side of L.B. Enjoy her at one of her marina spots. Enjoy sailing and other water activity at Alamitos Bay, Rainbow Harbor and Shoreline Marina.

and to Belmont Shore...

This is the hip, upscale ritzy and modern chic side to L.B.

Belmost Shore, an L.B. neighborhood is local hotspot of greater Los Angeles area where visitors will find the finest shops and service in the city. Explore her best along 2nd St.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:entertainment- filled, ocean views, colorful streets and people, close to L.A and Orange county
  • Cons:some undeveloped areas and crime but all big cities have these, not the beach for swimming and surf
  • In a nutshell:Long Beach- L.A. with a Coastline!

Hey Marie! Great mtg. you @ The Jagerhaus last week. You've got some great pages from a good local perspective; keep it up! Useful to both visitors and locals, too, who don't often venture out of their own neighborhoods. Great LB tips so far!
