Perceived Hollywood-The Glamor and the Grundge

What is the Shape of Hollywood?

Hollywood, CA
So, what makes L.A. twisted? Partly, Hollywood! Hollywood is under distortion, constantly changing its form and image. It is becoming more and more confusing to describe this part of LA. My metaphor of Los Angeles really does come to play here in describing Hollywood. LA is the mother with a permanent fetus of Holly swimming inside of her.

We may think that we know her because of the movies or television but there is much to discover and make sense of "Tinseltown". Visitors here may be surprise by the ordinary feel in many corners of town as the eyes drift away from the big billboards along Sunset and concrete stars on the Walk of Fame.

This is surely one of a kind, though, Tinseltown is progressively losing uniqueness in the makings of an (almost) suburbia- OH, THE MODERNITY!

Hollywood has made ground for a good number of retail chains which are making an impact here-for better and worse. On one hand, good business leads to cleaner, prettier streetsless and less crime in parts. Yet on the other hand, big time retail shops will likely clutter and transform the town as if it were an ordinary in Oraneg county or such. Big business may clean out many little shop owners and the town of numerous cast of characters will assimulate and lose identity- that there would be a tragedy like one scripted for the cameras.

Rest assured large traces of the original flair should still remain here, thanks in large part to those who fight to preserve classic Hollywood.

No Ho has the popular Universal Studios, the neon amusement city on a hill.

We Ho has more of the posh side when it comes to the "Hollywood" ideal.

it's just so appropriate to have a shop called "Forplay" :-)

Pros:"exciting nightlife, never boring, unique shops, appreciative of diversity & tourist dollars, central location, easy to arrive and enjoy via Metro with no need for a car really"
Cons:"too commercial in parts, some badly unkept parts, fake stereotype/ image, some shady streets of drugs and thugs here and there!"
In A Nutshell:"Come to Hollywood-Where the stars and the regulars are!"

I like looking at cemeteries, I find them very interesting by reading the different inscriptions. That one would be a beauty to have a look at. We have a town called Orange in Australia, but they grow Apples, not Oranges!
