"A Smashing "Pumpkins"" Calabasas by marinarena

Calabasas, "pumpkins" in Spanish, is a little ranch town that is only about 40 min drive from the center of Los Angeles, still within county limits.

She is not the typical suburb of LA. in that there is a touch of the rural life in her. One can find adobe (ranch), as well as horse trails in the old downtown area. But just when one thinks that it stampedes what is suburbia, alas, she proves otherwise with the trite and opulent shopping area- The Commons!

Calabasas is where Jennifer Lopez got married (for the second time). Well, her 2nd wedding did not last but the romance of Calabasas continues!
