Getting TO/AROUND: Forget the Alamo. That's in Texas.

Keep in mind about Metro route 460 if you're visiting L.A. and want to get to a few theme parks and fun attractions without a car. From Downtown L.A., the 460 begins and then heads off on the freeway eventually into Orange County. In O.C. , you can visit Knott's Berry Farm here in Buena Park, and also see Disneyland in Anaheim. These two major southern California attractions can be reach just with this one bus route! Get specific route info on the website!

Usually, the wait time for the bus is 30 min in Buena Park. The time is longer during the night, especially on a Sunday (up to an hour or so). For my experience, the bus is on time or just a little behind. The cost of travel from county to county (LA to OC, OC to LA) is 2.25 one way.

In general, it is wise to get the MTA day pass for $5.00 for multiple bus trips during the day. You'll have to pay an extra dollar if going from any point in OC to downtown LA- because of the in-between freeway service provided!

It was my understanding that Mr. Boysen that "Invented" the Boysenberry himself, who was Mr. Knott's neighbor. Later Mrs. knott made the Jelly from these berries.

Po'Folks! Wow... we went there on a family vacation eons ago and we still recall our amusement with that place. Good to know it's still going strong! ;)

This is a nice page. I've been to BP several times -- usually because I was going to the not-too-far away Anaheim convention center. And Po Folks still exists? I've eaten there sometime.
