The Jewel of Santa Catalina, California
Avalon is a sparkling city off the California's mainland, just an hour's ride by boat from both LA and Orange county. What a nice getaway from the Californian urban spawl. If not for the store signs in English, you'd swear that you were on a little Mediterrean island!
