Columbus, Ohio - Home of "The Ohio State Buckeyes", Wendy's Restaurant, White Castle's Restaruant (love those burgers - I mean sliders), The Crew (MLS Soccer), The BlueJackets (NHL), The Clipper's (Yankee's AAA team), and much, much more. |
| | Jalen, Madison and Tamy I lived in Columbus from 1983 until 1998 and enjoyed every minute of it. Although Columbus doesn't get a lot of publicity, it is the largest city in Ohio (as well as the state capitol), yes!! even bigger than Cleveland and Cincinnati. |
He's such a show-off!!! If you are into softball, this city probably has the most complete Parks & Rec Sports orgainzation in the U.S. They hold a softball tournament every 4th of July Weekend (called the Christopher Columbus Tournament) which brings in between 300 - 400 teams from around the region. Unreal! So take a trip to Columbus, I think that you'll enjoy your time there. | | |

deecat Sun Aug 15, 2004 21:01 UTC Barry, you've done a comprehensive job on your Columbus pages. Outstanding work on the restaurants. WOW. The hotel tips are also great. Thanks for the tour. | rrernst Fri Aug 22, 2003 20:41 UTC At Schmidt's skip the (fried)Wiener Schnitzel and go straight for the sausages and side dishes. The red cabbage is wonderful and so is the German potato salad. Go when you're really hungry! | lenoreva Wed May 7, 2003 15:54 UTC AHH! Fuddruckers and Bob Evans! How I miss american restaurants... you make all the places sound so good... | underclass Sun May 5, 2002 09:07 UTC as long as you`re white |
