Watford is one of the larger towns that surround London. Which means its great if you want to work in London but dont want to pay a fortune for accomadation.
Watford used to be famous for its printing, but now, theres very little of that left in the town.
Watford is famous for having been used as a location on many TV shows and films(ultimate force,eastenders regularly). Also, Leavesden studios is a 10 minute drive away where Star Wars,Harry Potter fans etc can get their fix! Recently, the town hall was used for recording the "lord of the Rings" soundtrack so its not a quiet town.
There is a lot to do in Watford, leisure centres, nightclubs, a massive shopping centre also lovely parks and quiet places to go with the kids. Its a nice place to go.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Near to London. Nearly always sunny(not necessarily warm). Lot to do.
Cons:Traffic can be a problem.
In a nutshell:The football team might be bad but the town aint!
