I didn't realize Stateline and South Lake Tahoe were two completely different towns when I arrived. So this is my attempt to put these tips in the right place. Realistically, you need to look at guides for BOTH locations in order to see what you want to do .... though they are different towns in different states, they appear as one long town that can be walked from end to end. So I suspect tips for one location might be found on pages for the other location (Cuz that's what I was doing when it hit me).

The differences are striking between Stateline and it's neighbor .... being a Nevada town, Stateline has the late night club scene and the casino's. South Lake Tahoe is the tourist town with giftshops, lake access points, and galleries.
