Historical, yet Quirky & Fun Santa Fe is covered in most travel books, and is one of the most visited areas of New Mexico. I do love this town, but tend to avoid it during festivals due to the crowds. On this day, we wandered up via the Turquoise Trail from Albuquerque, and unexpectedly wandered into the Santa Fe Arts and Craft Festival. Oh well :) I had fun wandering the Plaza's craft booths, and visiting w/ various vendors. This particular booth had me ROTFLMAO, the artist stated her sign had even made it onto the Letterman show :) I did ask for clarifiaction on what made a saint flawed or discontinued. Defects in workmanship would make a saint flawed, and some saints are discontinued to allow other saints time in the booth. Other saints are discontinued by the Catholic church itself :) |
| | Did you see that sky????? We took the interstate back to Albuquerque as the sun was setting. The sunset wasn't particularly colorful this day ... but the sky was so clear the sun had me entranced. I guess its a good thing I wasn't driving :) As it was, I took so many photos of this sunset it took quite a while for me to stop seeing spots ..... |
Things to think about .... Being a semi-local, it's hard for me to remember about travel related ideas while wandering about here in Santa Fe. So this page will take time to build .... I need to change the way I think and see Santa Fe for me to be able to share it's wonder with you here on VT. | | | On the way to Santa Fe... |
