Hip-Hop at its best!!!

Pop Starz is a local company that provides Hip-Hop dance classes to ages from children through adult. My brother is a member of their production company that travels southeastern Florida dancing for concerts, fundraisers, and other such events.

If you get a chance to see these kids perform - GO!!!!!! They are full of energy, skill and just plain fun :)

Alligators in the everglades .....

Sawgrass Recreation Center is a small tourist stop about 30 minutes west on 75 from Ft Lauderdale. A 20$ ticket gets you an airboat ride, and mini tours of the reptile exhibit, seminole exhibit, and wildlife exhibit.

Being a small park, the accomodations for the animals were also small, and only just adequate. but the everglades airboat tour was worth the entire ticket price ..... we wandered the everglades, stopped for bird watching, a talk about the local ecosystem, and yes, even for a gator!

There is an Egret that hangs out by the bait shop hoping for hand outs ...... oh yeah, they offer boat rentals for those who wish to fish for their own ....

The snack bar serves gator bits which were suprisingly tastey :)

Part toursit trap, part educational experience ... worth the stop if you have the time :)

Life's a beach :)

Go to the beach!!!! This is one of the best beaches I've been to in years ... yea there are people, yes there is sand, wind, etc .... but I'm so used to rocky beaches w/ cliff related access, that just walking off the end of the road, and on to the beach, with soft sand, seashells to find, and warm water ... well it's a treat :)

Directions: Head east - if you see surf, you are there :)
