Green Lantern is not fancy, but it does have unique qualities with make it worth a look. This is a family owned establishment, and the folks who work there all seem to be part of this family. They are courteous and personable. The rooms are older, a little dark, but clean and fresh smelling. The water is hot, shower spray is strong and the little jacuzzi out front is a teeny slice of heaven. Add cable TV, and a coffee maker and you can enjoy some time in and around your room in comfort.
If you walk (or drive) 2-4 blocks in any direction you can enjoy the main drag, the gondola ride, casinos, or the lake... tucked in among the trees, this place has a restful atmosphere for those on a budget.
Unique Qualities: For a splurge, you can use the Honeymoon suite. Its about twice as large as the standard rooms, but the fun part of this room is the built in Jacuzzi tub - shaped like a heart and surrounded by mirrors :) I haven't heard back from the happy couple yet ........ but I do believe they enjoyed their stay!
Add about 25-40$ more for this suite ... and enjoy the jets!
