Our itinerary

Day one to four: Muscat area (Hotel: Shangri-La Barr al Jissah Resort)
Day five: driving the coastal road down to Sur (220 km).
We stopped at Wadi Shab and walked one hour into the wadi to go swimming. We reached Sur around 7pm or so. (Hotel: Sur Beach Hotel)
Day six: Sightseeing in Sur and a day trip to the desert (Hotel: Sur Plaza Hotel)
Day seven: Driving from Sur to Ras al Hadd (45 minutes). Watching the turtles at night (Hotel: Ras al Hadd Beach Hotel)
Day eight: Return to Muscat (about 3 hours drive from Ras al Hadd on the coastal route) and catch the 4.30pm bus to Dubai
