Opulent and Beautiful

At Schloss Linderhof, I was neglectful in my picture taking. That, plus the myriad scaffolding about the palace was the reason for few pictures of the grounds. However, the interior was gorgeous and the grounds were magnificent. It may be a tourist trap, but, IMHO, it is well worth the trip. The only regrets I have are not having the time to explore the ground and veiw the grotto.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Gorgeous, Opulent, Beautiful
Cons:Just a tad tourist trappy with the hotel/restaurant and gift shop on site.
In a nutshell:Yes, it's a tourist trap, but it will be trapping me again in 2005.

In my opinion, THIS is the best of Ludwigs castles and it makes sense to return in summer !
