Truly a beauty. This elegant and sumptuous palace was where Ludwig grew up and heard the stories told of Schwanstein, the glorious castle razed in his father's time. Here is where Ludwig first dreamed of rebuilding a Neuschwanstein.
The guides here are friendly and easy-going. One guide in particular (her name escapes me) held a long conversation with me about Texas and how she had stayed in Corpus Christi for a time. |
