I have traveled to Paris several times while I have been living in Europe. You will probably not find another city with more tips and info on it. I have always had a great time staying in Paris and I will most likely go there again before I leave Europe. Paris has everything that you could possibly want in a city. The museums are great and sites are a must. I have been to Paris 6 times to include New Years 2003, and still have not seen everything. Do not just go to Paris with the expectation to just see the Eiffel Tower. Every section of the city has so much to offer. You will need to spend at least 3 days in Paris to see the things you want to. The Louvre itself is a 1 day event if you do not have a list of specific items you want to see. Paris can be expensive if you do not know the ins and outs of the city. Read the rest of the chapters to get specific tips.
