Christmas Island

I spent 3 months sailing around Christmas Island, and let me tell you it is not a very interesting place. Besides being duty free, there is not a hell of a lot to do up there.
There is a couple of shops on CI, and the lady who works in the Duty free shop is lovely. There is also a nice little electronics shop, if you can find what you want in there, as it is a bit cramped.
If you go during November thru to February, you will no doubt see the swarms of red crabs, which come to the island to breed, and when I say swarms, I mean swarms. You cant get away from them.

The highlight of the trip was the Golden Bosun, a small pub on the Island, being duty free, drinks were pretty cheap more travel advice

Hmmm...someone suggested to me to visit Christmas Island. But I guess I leave it to the crabs then...
