Concrete and politics

Canberra isnt a place where most people would go for a choice holiday. The fact of the matter is, there isnt a hell of alot to do there.
Its a town full of Politicians, wannabe politicians and military.
Canberra is the home of the Royal Military College, Duntroon. Defence Force Academy, a RAAF base, a navy base (not that there are any ships here) and Defence Headquarters

Playing Tricks

When i lived there ( I lived there twice) I was quite young. I used to enjoy taking the *** of any wannabe flyboy when they would tell me that they were a fighter pilot. Of course, I let them go, and then shot them down in flames. It helps when you know a bit about the Airforce!

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:Very Friendly city
  • Cons:Full of Politicians
  • In a nutshell:Best of both worlds, Very Cold in winter, Hot in Summer

If you dont do anything else in Canberra, at least head off to the Australian War Memorial. I myself have been there... more travel advice

    How long did you live in Canberra, one day. You'll find creepy crawley politicians all over the world especially in the capital city. At least if we dont like the poly we can kick them out every three years. cheers :-)
