Brief Description (from UNESCO Page)
Luang Prabang is an outstanding example of the fusion of traditional architecture and Lao urban structures with those built by the European colonial authorities in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its unique, remarkably well-preserved townscape illustrates a key stage in the blending of these two distinct cultural traditions.

great tips!
I spoke with one of the Buddhist in Vientiane and he said that they don't believe in God. Buddha is their Lord, not God!

Is it just me or are all your thoughts on travelling actually about beer? Weird!
After visiting Chiang Mai, I would love to make a trip to Luang Prabang. Heard many good things of LP and your pics makes me want to go there too.
