Visiting Rhode Island

by marcoparco - last update: Feb 20, 2004

Trip to Rhode Island

Went to Rhode Island for 2 wks in 2001. Truly a beautiful spot, especially the beaches!!!

The trip for me had two things that I was interested in! The cars and the chance to finally try surfing. Oups I guess I forgot the girls!hahaha.
Anyway, the nice cars were in abundance. It was amazing! The surfing, well didn't live up to the expectations. I didn't bother trying since there was only 2 foot waves and a crap load of people fighting for them. I spent my time on the swimming part of the beach where I body surfed mostly. Of course, the girls didn't disappoint.

Glad you enjoyed my home state. Deceiving about the wealth, however. We are not a wealthy state, but noone visits the lesser neighborhoods.

Nice Porsche! Yes, I am always amazed at the difference in wealth levels when I cross over into the US - even right next door in Maine at Bar Harbor for instance (sorry, I meant Baa Haa Bah)!
