"The Southern Coastline of Haiti" Cayes Jacmel by marcoparco

Cayes Jacmel Travel Guide: 3 reviews and 14 photos

Our hotel "Cyvadier" was located in Cayes Jacmel, only a few minutes drive outside of Jacmel. This was our home base for a few days and proved to be the ideal spot for relaxation and good times. The road that goes through Cayes Jacmel is in relatively good shape (for Haiti) and provides a good scenic drive. We went as far as Ti Mouillage where we found a wonderful little beach to relax for the day. We also went for a hiking trip.... After doing volunteer medical work for a week, Cayes Jacmel provided a great location to reflect on Haiti and the work we were doing there. The little signs of developement and safety in this area proved to be encouraging for a lot of volunteers.
